GAZA, West Bank: occupation, annexation & genocide, it all adds up!

The Israelis have every right to take revenge for October 7. But that doesn’t ignore the fact that the massacres in Gaza began long before 7/10 and, above all, are beyond imagination: everything that moves is shot at – women, children, babies, the elderly – everything that can sustain life is destroyed – buildings, hospitals, cemeteries, cultivated land, water collection points, schools, universities, the media (more journalists have been killed than in any recent war), etc. The Israelis are starving and starving, and the Israelis are taking their revenge. An entire population is being starved and thirsty. A film showing GAZA before and after October 7 shows a lunar landscape (1 and 2). A report by +972 – the only media including Jewish and Arab Israelis -(3 and 4) shows the extent of the extermination in northern Gaza, the territory Israel is about to reoccupy (5). Israel: the memory of our hypocritical democracies, an article worth reading to understand what lies ahead with this systematic defense of Israel and the anti-Semitism associated with Zionism, and Trump’s election is partly a symbol of this (6).

There are countless reports by doctors and surgeons who have been to Gaza, and who testify that they have never seen such a scale of massacres – not in Bosnia, the Ukraine or any other recent war. When a kid is shot 2 times in the head by a sniper, we no longer wonder what the aim is, and indeed the countless posts by Soldiers there attest to their understanding of the aims of this war, with political leaders ranging from Israel’s president to its ministers – all Gazans are potential terrorists and “human animals” anyway (7). Certain aspects, such as the forced marches from north to south and then from south to north, are reminiscent of the famous marches of Jews out of Nazi camps ( 8). Everything is being done to occupy all the territory of the former Palestine without the Arabs, which was the plan of the Jewish administration and terrorist parties like that of Netanyahu’s father, with – as a symbol – the map of the whole of Palestine from the Jordan to the sea (9).

Yet this is genocide,and will inevitably soon be recognized as such; the lesson given to the international court by the English lawyer representing the Arab League is a fine lesson in law (10). There are many testimonies, including from Jews and Israelis who have understood the dangers of this genocidal policy for Israel too (11 and 12). Yet a different policy could have been pursued: the cohabitation of Jews and Arabs in this country would have enabled the existence of a bridge between North and South (beautiful image 13), reminding us of a point that everyone seems to ignore: the greatest massacres and pogroms of Jews were carried out by Catholics and Protestants, not by Muslims. I can personally attest (as can my family) that I have never suffered from antisemitism in Egypt.

The recent incidents in Amsterdam are a caricature of the mixture of anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism. French and Dutch politicians have criticized the anti-Jewish “pogroms” following fights between Maccabi Tel Aviv hooligans and “Arabs”. Fortunately, video footage and the testimony of the police chief set the record straight. The Israeli gangs – who, it should be remembered, are active or holidaying soldiers of the Israeli army – had begun the previous day to attack people in buildings with Palestinian flags, shouting “Fuck all the arabs” “There are no schools in Gaza because there are no more kids”. …cab drivers -probably “typical” – were beaten up and cabs set on fire, etc., and it was only the following day that they found groups who responded to their attacks (14 and 15), information relayed by cab drivers. A striking testimony from a Dutch woman about the destruction caused by Tel Aviv hooligans in Amsterdam 2 days before, without the police intervening (16). Finally, in the last minute, the Minister of Finance and “gauleiter” of the West Bank officially announces what we all knew – except the politicians who repeat like a mantra 2 states etc.- “that in 2025, with the help of God and Trump, we will annex the provinces of ‘Judea and Samaria’ (their official names) and thus put an end to the Israeli-Arab war” (17). The apogee of the Zionist dream, all Palestine, from the Jordan to the sea… In the meantime, as it seems, annexing Damascus and Beirut would not be a bad idea. As expected, plans for the development of GAZA are ready, roads are being laid out on land cleared of all life, and the first buildings to house settlers are ready (18). No one will be able to say, we didn’t know, this is a colonialist policy coupled with genocide! French Jews, like the author of this article, must not support this policy in the name of Jewish morality & the fight against anti-Semitism (see also 19& 20)
