The Israeli president even decreed that all residents, including children, are terrorists. HE obviously hasn’t seen this little film which shows endearing, moving and I would say beautiful children. This type of film seriously contributes to making more human a population that we are described as bloodthirsty. These children thank US universities for their support of the Palestinians, showing that they went to school despite the conditions, some speak English – with a US accent – others seem happy despite the conditions. But, this gives us hope, certainly many among them will want revenge, but if despite the Prime Minister whose place is in The Hague – next to the leader of Hamas, there is a Palestinian state next to the Israeli, everything is permitted including hope. We must repeat again and again, the objective alliance – as elsewhere – between extremists – here Hamas and Benjamin Netanyahu – will only bring misfortune to this region and beyond. The Israeli people have the choice between endless wars, an increasingly militarized country, a democracy in destruction by the combined efforts of the extreme right and the religious ayatollahs who want to make it a theocracy while waiting for the messiah. and the construction of the Temple of Solomon- and cohabitation with a people on 20% of the territory of Mandatory Palestine in 1947. At one point we will have to stop having our eyes on the handlebars and think about what comes next, for the longest term, and to the children of Israel and Palestine.
