Were the members of the Nobel Peace Prize committee high on coke when they chose Machado?

Let’s summarize.

The slick US president is eagerly awaiting the Nobel Prize “because he stopped eight wars and saved millions of lives”… including wars that never existed (Albania and Azerbaijan??) meaning Armenia, I presume, but this one, like the others, has not really been resolved, nor has the one between India and Pakistan…

So giving him the peace prize is impossible, despite the best of intentions.

So, we decide to avoid the Middle East so as not to offend him. But we choose a far-right candidate, close to the US president and a fan of Netanyahu, whom she congratulates “and accepts/endorses the efforts he has made to bring back the hostages and peace to Gaza.” It’s like a dream, knowing the dozens of people who are resisting the US by giving their time and sometimes their lives—like the journalists and doctors in Gaza massacred by the Israeli colonizers.

Moreover, Ms. Machado’s first contact was with the US president to thank him for helping her country on the path to peace, even as he bombs Venezuelan ships because they belong “to drug traffickers.” This must be visible from up there. Ms. Machado finds nothing wrong with the massacre of her country’s ships without any explanation or justification.`

We are back to the politics of turf wars, with Mr. Trump—the KING—deciding who is good and who is bad, just like the US Democrats, who are either communists or crooks. There is no way out. Trump’s election will be costly, and it will take generations to undo the damage he has done to democracy and the Earth.
