Demander des sous à l’ANR est un sport national et comme dans tout sport, il y a des moments savoureux. Les rejets de projets sur lesquels nous avons travaillé avec assiduité sont parfois jouissifs. Il faut dire que les correcteurs (reviewers) qui doivent éliminer d’emblée l’écrasante majorité des projets se défoulent avec un sens d’humour défiant toute concurrence. Ils font la compète pour dire un maximum de sottises en un minimum de place ce qui demande beaucoup d’expérience et d’application qui méritent d’être salués. Je lance par conséquent, un prix destiné à récompenser les remarques et justifications de rejets les plus brillantes.
Nous allons organiser un Jury pour les choisir. En attendant, à vos plumes !

Points forts >The novelty of this proposal is that it is focused on a potential treatment of Parkinson’s patients which is not dependent on the use of DOPA. The experimental approach is heavily dependent on electrophysiology.Point faibles >The identity of neurons that generate giant GABAergic currents (GGCs) may be very difficult to achieve. Also, it is unclear how these findings could be translated to humans since similar experiments will be unethical.
- Évaluateur 3 :
Points forts > Based on their preliminary research the authors aim to investigate PD in a new neuropathological en treatment axis. The basis of the project appear to be solid and the experimental approach is clear using a step by step approach. The consortium appears well suited to perform this ambitious work and seems to handled the techniques proposed.Points faibles > The project is innovative and highly prospective in regards to a new axis of neuronal circuits alterations and therapeutic approach in PD. In this sense it is possible that this project will be difficult to achieve as well as further translation to human research paper not so straightforward. But this is definitely a risk that should be taken.
- Évaluateur 2 :
Points forts > This project addresses an important question to go towards new drugs for Parkinson disease. It relies on strong scientific
hypotheses that are going to be tested in vitro and in vivo. There are several preliminary results. Valorisation strategy is clear
with the implication of a spin-off.Points faibles > The consortium is limited to two groups of the same research institute: the project is mainly the continuation of long-standing
research. No requested budget for Partner 2?

Points forts > Promising preliminary results and documented expertise of the proponent and study team, which guarantee the feasibility of
the project.Points faibles > Aim 4 seems not necessary as there are already studies on humans and larger trials planned.
